Compassion Health:
Strong bodies flourish

* Coming Spring 2025

ABOUT

Compassion Health promotes community wellness through healthy eating, active living, and access to nutritious food, while laying the foundation for a future free, community-rooted primary care clinic.

Why it matters

In our community, many families struggle with barriers to health—limited access to affordable care, untreated conditions, housing instability, and food insecurity.

Food Markets

Supporting healthier lives by increasing access to food and nutrition-focused resources for neighbors facing food insecurity and diet-related challenges.

Health Through Fitness

Promoting physical well-being through accessible soccer camps and league,  and opportunities that encourage active, healthy living for all ages.

Health Screenings

Beginning in Spring 2026, we will offer basic health screenings, education, and referrals through our food markets and community outreach.

Stability and next steps

We help neighbors move toward stability by connecting them with trusted partners for shelter, supportive services, and longer-term pathways forward.

Spiritual Care

Supporting the whole person by offering space for spiritual encouragement, prayer, and reflection for those who desire it.

Who we serve

Neighbors of all ages in East Contra Costa—especially those facing housing insecurity, under-resourced schools, or limited access to healthcare. All services are free, welcoming, and dignity-forward.
